Simpson Davits Traditional / Enclosed Base Davits

Models 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 300
Traditional Davits have been designed to lift or lower weights up to 300kg (750lbs) per davit. They are manually operated, come with standard or enclosed bases, and incorporate an adjustable sliding arm extension for final positioning of the raised dinghy or tender.
Standard base allows for the easy access of the securing bolts and can be used in conjunction with transom brackets or deck shoes, which makes for the easy removal of the davits for stowage.
Enclosed bases are designed to be fitted with concealed bolts which give a more aesthetic finish and added security.
Davits priced in pairs.

Simpson Davits Series 7

The Simpson Series 7 Davit has a seven sided structure giving the davit a greatly improved look and retaining all the strength of the original design. This new model was conceived with electrification very much in mind and the power version has no external motor casing to detract from the streamlined shape.
Power winches have historically been avoided on sailing yaghts due to the battery capacity on board, but this unit is designed to keep current drain to a minimum and make the powered option a first chice especially as manual override is fitted as standard.
The Series 7 Davit comes in standard and long reach configurations with lifting capacities from 150kg to 250kg per davit (manual and electric versions available. To purchase the electrical version, first choose the davit model required and then electrification voltage option).
Davits priced in pairs.

LIGHTWEIGHT SWIVELLING DAVITS

The Lightweight Swivelling Davit is a curved 50mm (2”) tube davit designed to carry a 75kg (165lb) load and swing across the boat when the dinghy is absent. SWL for a pair is 100kg (220lb)
The davit has an internal sliding arm, allowing the dinghy to be secured when at sea. A version without slider is also available.
The davit is simply removed from the base bracket allowing stowage when not in use.
3 types of fixing bracket are available, deck mount, transom mount and custom transom mount.
The davits are built on site in 316 grade stainless.

Simpson Davits Handylift Series

Models HL60 and HL35
The Handylift is designed to simplify loading outboards and unmanagable objects onto yachts and motorboats. The two models are made of 50mm (2") or 38mm (1.5") 316 grade stainless steel and can be supplied in two parts, with a joint in the upright section to improve stowage, or as a single tube.

The lifting capacities are 60kg (135lb) and 35kg (80lb) repectively, and the installation is a simple matter of bolting the base plate to the deck and attaching the support bracket to the pushpit or deck rail. The HL60 has a 4:1 purchase and the HL35 has a 2:1 purchase.

The base plate is neatly sized at 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4") with the socket offset to one side allowing mounting against the toerail.
